1. Eligibility and Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining account credentials and for activities under your account.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.

2. Service Description

Grain enables event hosts and guests to capture, manage, and reveal event photos according to host-defined settings (for example reveal timing, guest limits, and visibility options).

3. User Content and Rights

• You retain ownership of content you upload, subject to rights needed for us to operate the service.
• You grant Grain a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, display, and transmit your content solely to provide and secure the service.
• You represent that you have all required rights and permissions to upload content and invite participants.

4. Event Host Responsibilities

• Hosts are responsible for obtaining participant consent where required by law.
• Hosts are responsible for configuring event privacy and access controls appropriately.
• Hosts must not use Grain for unlawful surveillance, harassment, or rights-infringing activity.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate laws, third-party rights, or these terms.
• Upload illegal, abusive, deceptive, or infringing content.
• Attempt unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, or disruption of the platform.
• Circumvent security controls, rate limits, or account safeguards.

6. Paid Plans and Billing

Certain features may be available on paid plans. Prices, entitlements, and limits may change, and will apply according to your selected plan and purchase terms shown at checkout.

7. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, legal risks, security threats, or abuse. You may stop using Grain at any time.

8. Intellectual Property

Grain and its platform materials (excluding user content) are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these terms.

9. Disclaimers

Grain is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free service at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grain is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Grain harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your content or breach of these terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your primary service jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms, to the extent allowed by law.
